About this tool

This tool trims the edges of every page in a PDF by the margins you choose — useful for removing scanner borders, headers, or excess white space. The same margins apply to all pages, and the page content itself (text, images, vectors) is kept intact; only the visible area shrinks. Cropping happens in your browser; the document is never uploaded.

Benefits & use cases

  • Remove ugly scanner borders from every page at once.
  • Cut away repeated headers or footers you do not need.
  • Tighten loose white space before sharing or printing.
  • Works entirely on your device — the PDF never leaves your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Can I crop pages differently?

No — this tool applies the same margins to every page. For different crops per page, split the PDF first, crop each part, then merge them back.

Does cropping delete the content outside the crop?

It hides it: viewers show only the cropped area, but the underlying content stays in the file. Do not use this as redaction for sensitive content — use a real redaction tool for that.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Cropping runs entirely in your browser; the file is never sent to any server.
