How to Reorder, Delete, and Rotate PDF Pages Without Software
Fix a PDF's page order, remove unwanted pages, and rotate sideways-scanned pages — all in your browser, no software to install.
A scanned document with pages out of order, an upside-down page from a scanner, or a PDF with a page you don't need — these are some of the most common small annoyances with PDFs, and none of them need a full PDF editor to fix.
Reorder pages by dragging
Organize PDF shows every page as a thumbnail you can drag into a new order, or remove entirely. This is the right tool when the content is fine but the sequence is wrong — a scanned document fed through out of order, for example.
Rotate pages that are sideways or upside down
Rotate PDF fixes pages scanned in the wrong orientation — rotate a single page or the whole document 90°, 180° or 270°. This is common with scanners that don't auto-detect orientation, or double-sided scans where one side comes out upside down.
When to use which tool
If pages are in the wrong ORDER, use Organize PDF. If pages are the right order but rotated the wrong WAY, use Rotate PDF. If you need to remove a page entirely, Organize PDF's delete option handles that in the same pass as reordering.
Combining with other fixes
For a scanned document that's out of order, sideways, AND too large, a practical order is: reorder and delete unwanted pages first, rotate the sideways ones, then run Compress PDF last — fixing structure before optimizing file size avoids doing the same work twice.
Quick tips
- Reordering and rotating both keep the original page content exactly as-is — nothing is re-rendered or degraded, since these operations only change page metadata, not the page content itself.
- Preview the thumbnail order carefully before downloading — a dragged page that lands one spot off is an easy mistake to miss.
- If a scan is rotated by a small angle (not a clean 90°) rather than sideways, these tools won't straighten it — that needs a proper deskew step, which isn't the same problem as orientation.
