About this tool
This tool cleans up irregular whitespace in pasted text: runs of multiple spaces are collapsed to a single space, and leading and trailing spaces are trimmed from every line. Text copied from a PDF, a slide deck or an email often carries extra spaces and odd line breaks that aren't visible until you paste it somewhere else — this straightens that out in one pass. Optional switches let you also remove blank lines entirely, or join the whole block into a single unbroken paragraph, which is useful when a hard-wrapped block of text needs to become one flowing line.

Does it remove line breaks?
Only if you enable "Join everything onto one line". Otherwise line breaks are kept.
Are tabs handled?
Runs of spaces and tabs between words are collapsed to a single space when that option is on.
Will this change the words in my text?
No — only whitespace (spaces, tabs and blank lines) is affected. Letters, numbers and punctuation are left exactly as you typed them.
Does it fix spacing inside a word?
No, it only collapses spaces between words and trims the start and end of each line — it doesn't touch spacing that's deliberately part of a word, like a spaced-out heading.
