About this tool
Add Page Numbers stamps a running number onto every page of a PDF — bottom-center, bottom-right or top-right — starting from any number you choose, with an optional '/ total' so readers can see how far through the document they are. It's built for reports, manuscripts and printed handouts that need pagination added after the fact. Numbering is drawn directly onto each page in your browser; the PDF is never uploaded.

Can I start numbering from something other than 1?

Will this replace existing page numbers?
No, it draws a new number on top of the page. If the PDF already has printed page numbers, both will be visible.
